Digital mixer for a band or theatre company
The largest variant in Allen & Heath's QU series, the QU-32 offers a substantial number of inputs. No fewer than 32 mono channels and 3 stereo channels, which makes a total of 38. Furthermore, there are a total of 28 output channels. These connections can be used directly on the QU-32 but can also be connected via a dSnake digital multicore cable.
Allen & Heath QU-32: Lots of channels yet still easy to oversee
A strength of Allen & Heath QU-32 is the clear layout of their mixing desks. With this QU-32 as well, you have a clear overview of the situation at a glance. It is equipped with 33 motorized ALPS faders, 32 for the channels and one for the master. These allow you to control the volume of individual channels, as well as the volume of buses, auxiliaries, and FX sends and returns. A clear channel strip can be found at the top of the mixing desk, which displays the relevant values for each selected channel.
Very complete mixer
With the Allen & Heath QU-32, you have a compressor, gate, EQ, and a HiPass filter available per channel. Each output features a graphic EQ, and there are 4 internal FX engines with a range of quality effects. You also have the ability to multi-track your mix via the built-in USB port. With a dedicated app, you can even control the QU-32 remotely via Wi-Fi. This is also very practical for monitor applications. View the Demo video online.
